Complex socio-economic estimation of the seven preserves of the regional importance situated in the Komi Republic, including consideration of the three components (ecological, social and economic) is carried out. While analyzing the condition and the features of the particularly protected natural territories their influence on the reserves’ efficiency has been revealed. The socio- economic problems of the preserves’ territories are also revealed. The list of the territories’ ecological services is represented, and these services’ economic estimation is carried out.
